THE ELEMENTS OF FASHION
Fashion is a continuous culmination of new ideas, fresh concepts, and inspiration derived from the very elements that shape our earth. The most basic among these are FIRE, AIR, EARTH, WATER, WOOD, and METAL.. Like thread to fabric, these elements are interdependent, continually merging together in an endless array of textures, shapes, colors, lines and patterns. Along the way, these elements are not only shaping and molding our planet, but become the origin of our individual and collective thoughts, feelings, and creativity.
What is Fire without Air? What is Water without Earth? How is Wood shaped without Metal?

Michael Maddox, Former Expo Fashion Show Director

will be honored by BBX 2007

The show will open with a special tribute to Michael Maddox, fashion show producer and runway instructor. He has trained many of the fashion world’s top models. A former director of our own expo Fashion show he has gone on to have clients including L.A. Models, IMG N.Y., Wilhelmina, Elite, Vision L.A., and Ford Models.

Honoring Michael Maddox are the following designers:

Hosted by Wendy Raquel Robinson, (The Game, Ringmaster and The Steve Harvey TV Show). Ms. Robinson will be introduced by Randy Ritchwood, 2005 Oxygen Network Mr. Romance, featured in september Ebony Magazine.

"Elements of Fashion", our High Fashion Runway Show, features the hottest designers, models, stylist and make-up artist on the West Coast and is hosted by Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson.

This year’s show was kicked off at our Open Model Call in August, where over 300 models showed up for the audition. The models were selected by a panel of Fashion Industry professionals. This runway production showcases some 60 plus models who grace the fifty foot runway.
