Youth Summit Friday, September 21st –
(8
a.m.-3 p.m.) Classrooms and Main Stage
The
youth summit was established to mentor, encourage and
provide access and resources to high school students that
will assist in preparing them for college, the workforce and
entrepreneurship. BBX buses up to 700 students from the Los
Angeles and surrounding area school districts. The BBX youth
summit provides speakers representing various industries
ranging from the corporate workforce to the world of
entertainment.
Speakers: Lisa Nichols, author of “Chicken soup,” Guest
speakers, Michael Seal, Councilmember Jan Perry,
Councilmember Richard Alarcón. Performances by All Stars,
Brandon Kane, Willie G’s showcase, and J. boykin. Hosted by
Wesley Jonathan of the movie, “roll bounce” and Willie G.
